After his medical residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania, he completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Baranowski is board certified in gastroenterology.

Although he sees patients with all types of gastrointestinal problems, Dr. Baranowski has special interest in disease of the esophagus including reflux, Barrett’s, and motility disorders. He specializes in biliary and pancreatic disorders. He performs advanced therapeutic techniques including Barrett’s ablation and biliary endoscopy.
