Dr. Rajapakse graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland.

She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in the UK and the American College of Gastroenterology in the United States.

Dr. Rajapakse is board certified in Gastroenterology and is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Zucker School of Medicine, Hofstra/Northwell Health.

She has 20 years of experience in training Gastroenterologists. While she has a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, her practice encompasses all of Gastroenterology including screening for colorectal cancer and women’s GI health.
