Advance Notification of Escort Policy

On the day of your procedure, you are expected to bring a responsible adult with you who will provide transportation home. A qualified escort is defined as any individual more than 18 years of age that demonstrates capability to accompany the patient home safely, can respond to emergencies, exhibits sound judgment, and demonstrates satisfactory communication skills.

The responsible adult must be back to pick you up within 1.5 hours of your scheduled time of arrival and/or be asked to stay on premises until you are ready for discharge.

The absence of a responsible adult will result in a cancellation of your scheduled procedure.

If you are having any difficulty, please discuss this with your physician prior to the day of your procedure.
